History and GP work covered up to November 18th.

Year 7 History – Students created a poster and delivered a presentation on aspects of Roman culture.

Year 8 History – Students learned about conditions on board a slave ship during the middle passage and how slaves were auctioned in the Americas.

Year 9 History – Students discovered how the trench system was organised on the western front.

Year 10 History – Students discussed and prioritised the causes of World War 2.

Year 11 History – Students discussed the reasons why the Nazis became popular in the 1930’s.

Year 13 History – Students discussed the long term and medium term causes of the Cold War.

Year 9 GP – Students used social and economic indicators to make inferences about the nature of global development.

Year 10 GP – Students completed a past exam paper focussing on utilizing the mark scheme to create better answers.

Year 11 GP – Students completed their Team Project outcome and began preparing for their written report.
