Humanities – lessons until 20th November

Year 7 History students consolidated their chronological skills as well as the ability to use sources

Year 8 History students created a comic book story to show the various stages of the life of a slave from capture to working on a plantation

Year 9 History students discussed how and why fascism became popular in the 1920’s and 1930s.

Year 10 History students discussed the differences the Yalta and Potsdam conferences.

Year 11 History discussed the methods Hitler used to turn Germany into a dictatorship.

Year 12 History students discussed the organisation of the League of Nations and how this led to problems in the 1930’s. Students also compared the relative successes of the league’s attempts to settle disputes.

Year 9 GP students continued with their project on Water Aid.

Year 10 GP students continued to practice collecting data and synthesising research information.

Year 11 GP students disseminated the TP questionnaires.
