Our Year 3 students enthusiastically began their brand new Maths unit on Measurement. Rather than just reading about lengths and distances, they turned the entire classroom into an active learning space!
The students learned the vital mathematical skill of estimating first, making thoughtful guesses about the sizes of various objects around them. Working brilliantly in teams, they then used their metre sticks to record the precise lengths in centimetres (cm) and metres (m).
Practical investigations like this are a fantastic way to help young learners fully grasp mathematical concepts, proving that Maths is not just about numbers on a page—it is a tool we use to understand the world around us. Outstanding effort, Year 3! 👏💡

✨ Prehistoric adventures in Year 3! 🦕🌍
Our brilliant Year 3 students had an incredibly fun and engaging day as they dived into their brand new International Primary Curriculum (IPC) unit: Footprints from the Past.
To spark their curiosity, we hosted a fantastic entry point activity. The excitement continued straight into our Science lessons, where the students became young palaeontologists for the day! They got their hands dirty by carefully digging for fossils, actively uncovering clues about the fascinating creatures that roamed the Earth millions of years ago.
This is exactly how our thematic IPC framework makes learning unforgettable—by turning historical and scientific concepts into thrilling, hands-on discoveries.
