Our Year 9 students took a deep dive into the complexities of human biology this week, specifically exploring how the heart works. By studying anatomy firsthand, they gained a clearer understanding of the intricate circulatory system and the vital role the heart plays in sustaining life.
It is brilliant to see them applying scientific inquiry and analytical skills to uncover the fascinating inner workings of the human body. Future medical professionals and biologists in the making! β¨

Our Year 4 students recently learned how seismic activity is measured by building their very own seismographs.
Using basic materials, the class constructed instruments that allowed a suspended pen to record movement onto a moving strip of paper. By shaking the tables at different intensities, the students were able to generate their own seismic graphs. They then examined the zig-zag lines to determine the strength of the vibrations they had created.
It is always brilliant to see our students applying theoretical concepts into practical, working models.
