International School Education
Our approach combines aspects of international school syllabi and European education practices to nurture confidence and intellectual curiosity in our students, preparing them for success in further education and life beyond. We offer a holistic education focussed on high academic standards and student-centred learning complemented by a progressive education technology program and diverse co-curricular activities.
The primary teaching language is English, with all primary and secondary students also receiving Indonesian lessons as well as the choice of either Mandarin or French. Students aged 3 – 6 years attend our Montessori School which extends to Year 1. From Year 2 through to Year 6, students attend our Primary School, where students receive customised program that integrates the Cambridge Primary Curriculum with the International Primary Curriculum. Our Secondary School, which extends to Year 11, follows the UK curriculum based Cambridge International Examinations syllabus and provides the internationally recognised Cambridge IGCSE in the final two years of study.
We encourage our students to develop a sense of pride and responsibility in their progress, both inside and outside the classroom. Our small overall size and small class size allows our teachers and leadership team to closely follow and optimise the learning of each individual student. Furthermore our school portal facilitates strong communication between teachers and students and parents while also offering additional opportunities for learning support and enrichment.
SES students fulfill the regulations of the Indonesian Ministry of Education for both Primary and Secondary school.
